Shane Duke officiating. Interment will follow in the Welcome Home Ceme tery in Grayson. Mrs. Campbell was born in Caldwell Parish on October 29, 1921 to the union of Alfred Franklin and Gertrude Darden Starnes and died Tuesday, February 22, 2005 at the Citizens Medical Center in Columbia. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Elvin Campbell. Survivors include her sister and brother-in-law, Dollie and Morgan Legendre of Westwego; her brothers, Gene Starnes of Pearl River and James Starnes of Saraland, AL; six nieces and two nephews; six great-nieces and eight great-nephews. Pallbearers are Tommy Brown, Johnny Brown, Jeff Wyant, Danny Ostrum, Chris Frederick, Clayton Perot, Nick Lindsey, Kenneth Ray Fatheree, Curtis Perot and Ken Blackmore. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM until time of services at Riser Funeral Home, 7131 Hwy. 165, Colum bia. Originally published February 24, 2005
