Services were held Friday, December 20th, at 2 P.M. at Mt. Pleasant cemetery in ward 5, with Rev. G. W. Walls in charge. Mrs. Carr was born in Claiborne Parish on May 23, 1861, but had lived the greater part of her life in Caldwell Parish. She is survived by five sons, J. W. Carr of ward 5; W. J. Carr of Grayson; J. L. Carr of ward 5; Bill Carr of Grayson; three daughters, Mrs. Eli Perry of Columbia; Mrs. Mattie Fisher of Riverton; and Mrs. Minnie Reeves of Arkansas. Pallbearers were J. B. Thompson, C. C. Dunn, E. E. Volentine, M. L. Alford, Van Watts and Monor Riser. The services were under the direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia.
