Keith Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Union Cemetery west of Grayson. Mrs. Curry was born in Cotton Plant on May 24, 1915 to the union of Robert Arthur and Harriet Jordan Rogers and died Tuesday, November 23, 2004 at the LaSalle General Hospital in Jena after an extended illness. She was a homemaker and a member of the Olla United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Lewis Mid Curry, her sisters: Ouida Culpepper, and Thelma Smith Huffman and her brothers: Falcrom Rogers, Herbert Rogers, Derward Rogers, her twin: Earlon Rogers and Esley Rogers. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law: Barbara and Billy Thomas of Kelly, two grandchildren; Rev. Keith Thomas and his wife: Mary of Kelly and Karla Keowen and her husband: Kerry of Central, four great-grandchildren: Sawyer and Reed Thomas of Kelly and Kade and Korey Keowen of Central, several nieces and nephews including one special neice: Pat Irby of Olla. Pallbearers will be Reed Thomas, Kerry Keowen, Kade Keowan, Kory Keowan, Ben Irby and Robert Newsom. Visitation will be Thursday from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. until time of services.
