David Shirley officiating. Interment will follow in Providence Memorial Cemetery in Winnsboro. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home. He was born to Daryle Lamar and Joy Laverne Isgett Dean on May 31, 1953 in Winnsboro and passed from this life Wednesday, December 12, 2007 in his home in Columbia. In the past he had worked for KMAR Radio Station in Winnsboro, KCTO in Columbia, and Department of Transportation for the City in Monroe. He was a HAM radio operator with call sign N5LSS. He married Pam Richardson on June 6, 1975. Mr. Dean leaves behind his wife of 34 years Pam R. Dean of Columbia; two sons David Dean and Brandon Dean of Columbia; sister Debbie Kitchen and husband John of St. Joseph; brother Robert Dean of Youngsville. He is also survived by three nephews Charlie Kitchen and wife Donese of Sterlington Dan Kitchen of St. Joseph; and Justin Dean of Youngsville; niece Britney Dean of Youngsville. Pallbearers will be Gene Cummings, James Defreese, Martin Higginbotham, John Horne, Mike McMellon, and Donny Snipes.
