David Slack and Rev. George Lavender officiating. Interment will follow in the Angelouia Bend Cemetery. Mrs. Williams was born in Caldwell Parish on January 2, 1919 to the union of Dave and Ida Walker Neal and died Wednesday, February 12, 2003 at the Homer Memorial Hospital in Homer, La. She was a homemaker and a member of the Locust Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband: James Edward Williams, Jr. and her sons: Fred Williams and Willie Charles Williams. Survivors include her sons: Milton Williams of New Orleans, Jimmy Williams of Bassfield, Ms. and George Edward Williams of Columbia, her daughters: Mildred Smith of Columbia, Ida Blount and Josie Dennie both of Jackson, Ms., Doretha Dunn of Beaumont, Tx., Ann Coleman of Arcadia and Lillian Belisle of New Orleans, her brother: Henry Neal of New Orleans, La., twenty-seven grandchildren and forty-two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:30 until 6 p.m. at Riser Funeral Home, 7131 Hwy 165, Columbia and Monday from 10 a.m. until time of services at the church.
