She was married to John A. Eubanks in the parish of Caldwell, State of La., on the 18th day of Nov. 1868, and was the mother of twelve children, nine boys and three girls, five has [sic have] gone on before her. She leaves a husband and five sons and two daughters, seventeen grandchildren, two brothers, two sisters and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her loss. Dear relatives, grieve not, your loved one, the beautiful flower on which you were wont to lavish your earthly affections and adoration, now blooms and flourishes and sheds its sweet fragrance in the Garden where Angels tend. The Savior has said "come unto Me all ye who are heavy laden and I will give you rest", and in response to this divine invitation your loved one has bid adieu to the trials and troubles of this vale of tears and has gone to that Heavenly Home made ready for her by the Celestial Father where peace and happiness eternely abound. The thoughts of this alone should consol you, then bereaved family and relatives weep not, for what is your loss is Heaven's gain. It pleased the All Wise Creator to call sister Eubanks away from this world Oct. 23, 1916. By Rev. T. T.
