Obituary: Evelyn Evans Noland
January 14, 2004

Services for Evelyn Evans Noland, age 79, of Clarks will be held
at 2 p.m., Wednesday, January 14, 2004 from the chapel of Riser
Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Danny Chance and Rev.
Dennis Evans officiating.  Interment will follow in the Woolen Lake
Cemetery in Hebert.
   
Mrs. Noland was born on September 8, 1924 to the union of Lonnie
T. and Bertha Forman Evans and died Monday, January 12, 2004 at 
her residence.
    
She was a retired nurses' assistant and respiratory aide with Caldwell
Memorial Hospital.  She was preceded in death by her husband: Norvel
C. Noland and her grandson: Todd Ingles.
    
Survivors include her sons: Dennis Evans and his wife, Judy of
Hebert and Ronnie Noland of Florida, her daughters: Patricia Jones of
Monroe, Norva Lee Jackson and her husband: Kenneth of Grayson,
Donna N. Maxwell and her husband: Dale of Hebert, Debi Noland Foster
and her husband: Danny of Monroe and Ruth Ingles of Winnfield, her
sisters: Edna Stamper of Hebert and Margie Willis of Monroe, thirteen
grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
    
Pallbearers will be Timmy Carter, Les Welch, Danny Foster, Cody
Foster, Neal Condrey, Tommy Ellis and Chad Ginn.
    
Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 p.m.until 9 p.m. and Wednesday
from 9 a.m.until time of services at Riser Funeral Home in Columbia.
    
The family would like to thank Patients Choice Hospice Care of
Monroe for their care of  Mrs. Noland.
