Obituary of Ellen Roberta Brady Lovelady
February 10, 2003

Services for Ellen Roberta Brady Lovelady, 81, of Hebert will be held
at 2 p.m., Monday, February 10, 2003 at the Bethany Baptist Church in
Hebert with Rev. J.B.Bell and Rev. James Brown officiating.  Interment
will follow in the church cemetery.
    
Nestled in the arms of the angels Mama was carried to her eternal
home on February 8, 2003.  She came into the world on August 23, 
1921 in Baskin, La.
    
She married her lifelong partner on March 12, 1938.
    
Survivors include her husband: G.B. "Punk" Lovelady, Jr. of Hebert,
her children: Bertha and Lee Kanarainen of Hawkins, Texas,  Gil and
Linda Lovelady of Columbia, Dwight and Brenda Lovelady of Hebert,
Rita and Gary Fuller of West Monroe, Kay and Wayne Bowlin of West
Monroe and Scott and Ann Lovelady of Columbia, thirteen grandchildren 
and seven great-grandchildren: her brother: Fletcher Stephenson
of Crossett, Ar. and numereous neices and nephews.
    
She was preceded in death by her mother: Rachael Stephenson, her
father: Bart Stephenson, brothers: Carroll Brady, Milton Stephenson,
and two grandchildren: LeeAnn and Troy Dean Waltrop.
    
Pallbearers will be Dee Lovelady, Kyle Whitehead, Brad Tullos, Gil
Lovelady, Robert Washam, Ruff Tullos, Billy Joe Poole and Terry Lovelady.
   
Honorary pallbearers are Whoop Grady, Drew Lovelady, Robert Grady,
Coy Gen Waldrop and Michael Lovelady.
   
Visitation will be at Bethany Baptist Church until time of services.
