Obituary of Evelyn Puckett
July 6, 1978

The funeral of Mrs. Evelyn Puckett, 58, of Hebert was held at
3 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Riser and Son Funeral Home in 
Columbia with the Rev. Bobby Dye officiating.  Burial was in 
Hebert Cemetery.

Mrs. Puckett died Monday at E. A. Conway Memorial Hospital 
following a lengthy illness.

Survivors include her husband, Eugene Puckett of Hebert; one
daughter, Mrs. Glenda May of Columbia; one son, Victor Puckett 
of Hebert; one sister, Mrs. Lorene Sanders of Hebert; and 
two grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Pete May, Hollis Strickland, Raymond Roy, Clyde
Graham, Billy Joe Poole, Wiley Kelly, vernon Poole, and Billy
Jones.
