All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Obituary: Frances Richardson Childers April 28, 2004 Services for Frances Richardson Childers, 72, of Grayson will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 28, 2004 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Howard Hudson officiating. Carolyn Duff and Don Burns will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Mt. Rose Cemetery, east of Grayson. Mrs. Childers was born in Grayson on August 15, 1931 to the union of Clarence Henry and Ethel Tarver Richardson and died Tuesday, April 27, 2004 at the North Monroe Medical Center in Monroe. She was a retired Vice-President at Citizens Progressive Bank. She retired in 1957 having work over 35 years. She was also a member of the Grayson United Methodist Church and a graduate of the Grayson High School. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: William T. "Billy" Childers and her mother-in-law: Barbara Childers Franklin. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law: Sue and Richard Huth, her grandson: Nathan Huth of Tallahassee, Florida, her brother and sister-in-law: Curtis and Lois Richardson of Olla, her neices and nephews and their spouses: Lori and Herman McCarty and their children: Lacy and Mallory, Steve and Sheryl Richardson and their children; Ryan and Sean, Mark and Rhonda Richardson and their children: Erin, Haley, Blair, Charlie and Jamie, Christy and Reggie Watson and their son: Reed, and Bob and Rhonda Childers and their girls: Abby, Rebekah and Sarah, and her extended family: Howard and Bill Strebeck, Marie, Clif and Anne Burns, Don and Mary Burns, Wes and Amanda Burns, Jerry and Dannie Richardson, Cathy and Sam Carroll and Joellen and Charles Ford. Pallbearers are Don Burns, Steve Richardson, Mark Richardson, Bob Childers, Heman McCarty, and Sam Carroll. Honorary pallbearers are Kathleen Weed, Trish Looman, Lesa Mc- Keithen, Lynn Mullenix, Kay Ellerbee, Barbara Stamper, Pat Wyant, Sue Bailey, Mary Louise Douglas, Ida Williams, Lena Mann, Linda Carter and Carolyn Duff.
