September 3, 1970

Cicero C. Fluitt, 61, of Columbia died Monday night at the Columbia Heights
Hospital after a long illness.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church 
with the Rev.'s Gary Maroney and K. D. Mills officiating.  Burial was made 
in the Welcome Home Cemetery under the direction of Riser and Son Funeral 
Home of Columbia.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lois Fluitt of Columbia; one son, Marvin 
Fluitt of West Monroe; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Fluitt of Columbia; 
three brothers, George M. Fluitt of Hilo, Hawaii, Tobin Fluitt of Hebert, 
Sam Fluitt of Columbia; five sisters, Mrs. Wayne Malin of Columbia, Mrs. 
Angie Fisher of Zachery, Mrs. Mildred Robertson of Sterlington, Mrs. Jodie 
Hoytt of Alexandria, Mrs. Priscilla Lyles of Cheneyvelle; and two 
grandchildren.

Pallbearers were his nephews.
