Fore, age 72 of Grayson will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, October 5, 2004 from the chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Bruce McGee officiating. Interment will follow in the Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson. Mr. Fore was born in Grayson on August 4, 1932 to the union of Ambrose Darden and Carlene Parker Fore and died Sunday, October 3, 2004 at the St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe. He was employed with the Caldwell Parish Sheriff's Department with 31 years of service. He was a member of the Columbia Heights Baptist Church and also a member of the Clarks Masonic Lodge #382. He was preceded in death by the mother of his children: Sybil Honeycutt Fore. Survivors include his wife: Jackie Barnes Fore of Grayson, his sons and daughters-in-law: Billy and Debbie Fore and Benny and Kay Fore, his daughter: Joy Fore Nugent all of Grayson, his grandchildren: Joey Nugent and his wife: Stephanie, Kristi Nugent, Gene Fore and his wife: Lisa, Angie McNemar, Nick McNemar, and Nickey Hixson and her husband: Kevin, his great-grand- children: Derek Rials, Charles Fore, Wesley Fore, Shae McNemar, Ray McNemar and Michael Joe Hixson, and his sister and brother-in-law: Mary Alice and Bill Ferrell of Dallas, Texas. Pallbearers will be Sheriff Steve May, Chief Deputy Glenn Gilmore, Chris Frederick, Freddy Mercer, Bernard Gray and Tim Diel. Honorary pallbearers are Employees of the Caldwell Parish Sheriff's Office and Maurice Mercer. Visitation will be Monday from 3 p.m.until 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 a.m. until time of services at Riser Funeral Home, 7131 Hwy 165, Columbia, La.
