She was 78 years of age. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday of Old Union Baptist church in Ward nine, with the Rev. J. D. Kitchingham of Columbia in charge, assisted by Dr. Wren Causey and the Rev. Robert Peek of Monroe assisting. Interment was made in the Old Union cemetery under the direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home of Columbia. Mrs. May was twice married, her first husband being Bob May, a merchant and planter of Cotton Plant. To this union was born five sons. They are: Dewey M. May of Ward 9; Hollie May of Cross Roads, Garland May of Monroe, Clyde May, highway patrolman of Tallulah, Hunter May of St. Joseph. After Mr. May's death, she later married her present husband, W. M. Fuller. Before her first marriage she was Olivia May Dunn, her parents' old place being located in Columbia on the lot where the F. M. Gartman home is now located. Besides her husband and children, she is also survived by a brother, Solon W. Dunn of McAllen, Texas; two half-brothers, Gordon Dunn and Hardy Dunn of Austin, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Annie Dunn Gimble of Tyler, Texas; 15 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
