Obituary of H. (L. or H.) Gentry
The Caldwell Watchman, January 31, 1974

Horace L. Gentry, 80, of 714 Smith, West Monroe, died Monday at St. Francis
Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Sikes Baptist Church
with the Rev. Jimmy Bolton and the Rev. Willie James officiating.  Burial
was in Sikes Cemetery.

Survivors include one son, Andrew Gentry, Sr. of Monroe; three daughters,
Mrs. Cleo G. Henry of Columbia, Mrs. Ruth Guillory of West Monroe, and Mrs.
Louise Miller of Lake Charles; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
