Obituary: Grace Jones Grant
December 20, 2003
   
Services for Grace Jones Grant, age 77, of Columbia will be held
at 1 p.m., Saturday, December 20, 2003 from the chapel of Riser
Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Bruce McGee officiating.
Interment will follow in the Little Star Cemetery east of Kelly.
   
Mrs. Grant was born on June 11, 1926 in Wilmington, Delaware
to the union of Voschell and Emma Peppenhorst Jones and died
Thursday, December 18, 2003 in Grayson from injuries received in
and automobile accident.
   
She was a homemaker and attended Columbia Heights Baptist
Church.
   
Survivors include her sister-in-law: Mary Jones of Baton Rouge,
her nephews: Dennis Jones of Houston, Tx., and Obie Jones of
Pineville, her great-neices: Jennifer Jones and Allie Jones both of
Houston, Tx., her cousins: Cliffie McVay of Enterprise, Beatrice
Fletcher of Kelly, Gladys Woofter of Milton, Fl., Virginia Eneglett
of Howenwall, Tn., Sadie Jenkins of Shreveport, Lorraine Adams
of Houston, Tx., Sarah Peppenhorst and Merle Peppenhorst both
of Thomasville, Al., Bessie Dixon and Don Peppenhorst both of
Linden, Al., and Max Peppenhorst of Livingston, Tx.
