All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Obituary of William Glasco The Caldwell Watchman-Progress, September 4, 1975 Funeral services of William (Red) Glasco, 70, of 1704 S. 4th Street, Monroe were held at 2 p.m. Friday in Southside United Methodist Church with the Rev. Lea Joyner officiating. Burial was in the Amity Cemetery in Richland Parish under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Monroe. He died in Vetertan's Memorial Hospital in Alexandria Wednesday following a long illness. Mr. Glasco was a memeber of the Southside Methodist Church, a veteran of World War II and was a retired automobile salesman. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Esther Glasco of Monroe; one sister, Mrs. Ertie Hampton of Hebert; and one brother, E. L. Glasco of Kentucky. Pallbearers were Ersie Duchsne, Jack Savanna, Archie Brothers, Cletus Walters, Reese Walters, and R. O. Walters. Honorary pallbearers were members of the official board of Southside Methodist Church.
