Cagle, Jr. February 17, 2003 Graveside services for George S. Cagle, Jr., age 77, of Hebert will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, February 17, 2003 at the Hebert Cemetery in Hebert with Rev. Shane Duke officiating. Mr. Cagle was born in Monroe on Aparil 13, 1925 at the union of George and Rhetta Parker Cagle and died Thursday, February 13, 2003 at the Citizens Medical Center in Columbia. He was a retired carpenter and was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Army. Survivors include his wife: Ollie Whellis Cagle of Hebert, his sons: George S. Cagle and Malvin Lee Cagle both of Columbia, James A. Cagle and John R. Cagle both of Winnfield, his daughters: Sherry Lynn Bell of Monroe and Annette Calhoun of Bernice, his sister: Katheryn Williamson of West Monroe, sixteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Mark Corley, Steven Cagle, Charles Edward Cagle, Mark Alford, Mike Bell, Roger Calhoun, Cliff Nordstrom and Ricky Cagle. Visitation will be Saturday from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. until 1:30 at Riser Funeral Home, 7131 Hwy 165, Columbia, La.
