Obituary:   Gladys Thompson Lively
December 8, 2003

Services for Gladys Thompson Lively, age 66, of Columbia will
be held at 2 p.m., Monday, December 8, 2003 from the chapel of
Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Shane Duke officiating.  
Interment will follow in the Friendship Cemetery near Sikes.

Mrs. Lively was born in Sikes on June 18, 1937 to the union of
Luther and Emmer Bratton Thompson and died Saturday, December 6, 
2003 at the Haven Nursing Center in Columbia.

Survivors include her sons: Dennis Carraway of Olla and Dewayne 
Carraway of Tullos, her daughters: Brenda Exline of Alexandria 
and Sandy Ford of Olla, her brothers: Robert Thompson, Vernon 
Thompson and Richard Thompson all of West Monroe, her sister: 
Doris Takewell of Clearwater, Florida, eight grandchildren 
and two great-grandchildren.
