Tommy Nelson officiating. Interment followed at Old Union Baptist Church Cemetery in Grayson, LA. Mrs. Honeycutt was born on September 22, 1916 in Winn Parish and passed away Monday, April 19, 2010 at Stoneybrook Assisted Living Center. She retired from the Caldwell Parish High School lunch room after 30 years of service. She was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church in Grayson, Louisiana. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, crocheting, quilting, and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Buddy Honeycutt; parents, Nim and Ida Willis; sisters, Evelyn Pardue, Beatrice Willis, Eunice Monroe, and Maurine Tullos; brother, Nathan Willis; son-in-law, Bill May; two granddaughters and a grandson. Left to cherish her memory are two daughters; Lynn May, and Bessie Herring and husband, Ron; two sons, Dewey Honeycutt and wife, Gloria, and Bennie Willis and wife,Luella; 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Brandon Waggoner, Matthew Joiner, Michael Joiner, Casey Honeycutt, Kenneth Fatheree, Alan Willis, James Dale Willis, Craig Honeycutt, Ron Herring, and Mike Honeycutt. The family would like to thank the staff of Stoneybrook Assisted Living Center for their compassionate care. We would especially like to thank Ms. Alicia Freeman for her love and attention to our beloved mother. In lieu of flowers, any planned memorials should be made to the Old Union Cemetery Association.
