Henry, 47, Columbia, were held at 2 P.M. Wednesday, July 4, 1990 at Riser and Son Funeral Home in Columbia with Glenn Purdy officiating. Burial was in Crossroads Cemetery in Grayson under the direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home of Columbia. Mr. Henry died Monday, July 2, at his residence after a brief illness. He was a licensed funeral director with Riser and Son Funeral Home and a former manager of Howard's Brandiscount Store in Columbia. He was a member of Columbia Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Dorothy "Cookie" Henry of Columbia; one son, Christopher Henry of Columbia; one daughter, Mrs. Carla Jones of Florence, Alabama; mother, Mrs. Adelaide Henry of Tampa, Florida; one brother, Mr. Tom Henry of Houston, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Cheryl Reed of Brentwood, Tennessee and Mrs. Bobbie Johnson of Tampa, Florida; two nephews; three nieces; and two great nieces. Pallbearers were Melvin Duckett, Dub Jacobs, Drew Keahey, Jack Keahey, Bob McIlwain, Bruce Mosely, Ronnie McIlwain and Randy George. Honorary pallbearers were H. Neil Riser, Jr., Douglas "Buzzy" May, Jerry Moseley, Paul Meredith and Gerry McIlwain.
