Obituary of Allen Hilburn
The Caldwell Watchman-Progress, August 21, 1975


Allen Hilburn, 63, of Grayson, died early Sunday morning at the
Haven Nursing Home here after a lengthy illness.

Funeral Services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Riser
and Son Funeral Home here with the Rev. James Love officiating.

Burial was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery near here.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Christine Hilburn of Grayson;
two sons, James and Jerry Hilburn, both of Grayson; his parents,
Mr. and Mrs. George Hilburn of Monroe; one sister Mrs. Margaret
Bayles of Monroe; two brothers, Ed Hilburn and Clyde Taylor, both
of Columbia; a half-brother, Carl Hilburn of Bosco; two stepsons.
