Obituary: James Alton Marcum II
     March 7, 1969 - April 28, 2003

Services for Mr. James Alton Marcum II, 34, of Grayson were held at 2:00pm 
Thursday May 1, 2003 at the Fellowship Cemetery on Hwy. 846 West. with Rev.
Bobby Whute Officiating. Arrangements were under the Riser Funeral Home of 
Columbia.

James was born on March 7, 1969 in Baltimore, MD. He was a professional 
truck driver, and he passed away on April 28, 2003.

Survivors include: His Wife: Donnie Faye Caldwell Marcum of Grayson, His 
Step-Children: Calvin "BoBo" Coates Jr. of Columbia and Peggy Bishop of 
Hebert, His Grandchildren: Derek Coates of Choudrant, Amber and Joey 
McMurray and Shiann Bishop all of Hebert, His Father: James A. Marcum Sr. 
of Evanstown, OK, Sisters: Thelma Howard of Oklahoma City, OK, and Becky 
and Alvin Thompson of Luther, OK, Two Neices: LeeAnn and Denise Oliziona of 
McAllister, OK, his Uncles: Bob and Chen Ye Marcum of TN, J.R. James of 
Kelly, and Ernest Buckley of Bastrop.

He was preceded in death by his Mother: Della, and his Grandmother: Gladys 
Marcum.
