Kenworthy, 65, of Grayson, were held at 4 p.m. Thursday in Grayson Baptist Church with the Rev. Oscar Bradford and Dr. W. M. Causey officiating. Burial was in Welcome Home Cemetery under the direction of Riser & Son Funeral Home of Columbia. Mr. Kenworthy died Wednesday morning after a brief illness. He was a logging contractor in Caldwell Parish for 30 years, a member of the Baptist Church and was on the town coucil of Grayson. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Dell Kenworthy of Grayson; one daughter, Mrs. Betty Hendrix of Franswood, Texas; one son, Ronald Kenworthy of Long Beach, Mississippi; his mother, Mrs. Cora Kenworthy of Grayson; two sisters, Mrs. Hilburn Warner of Grayson and Mrs. Lora Esters of Bastrop; one brother, Odis Kenworthy of Grayson; and seven grandchildren. Pallbearers were Jim Malcomb, Ray Hatten, James Nutt, Juey Baum, Billy Whitehead and Otis Gordy.
