Services for Gregory Lee Lewellyan, age 41 of Columbia will be held at 10 AM, 
Monday, June 9, 2008 from the Columbia Heights Baptist Church in Columbia with 
Rev. James Prince officiating. Eugene Dunn will deliver the eulogy. Interment 
will follow in the Columbia Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday, June 8, 2008 at Riser Funeral Home, 7131 Hwy 165 in 
Columbia from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Greg was born in Columbia on July 8, 1966 and passed from this life on June 6, 
2008 at his residence following a courageous year long battle with brain 
cancer.

Greg graduated from Caldwell Parish High School in 1984 and from Northeast 
Louisiana University in 1988. He then attended Louisiana State University and 
received his Juris Doctor in 1991. While at LSU Greg received the American 
Jurisprudence Award for excellent achievement in Successions and Donations. He 
was also presented with an award for membership in the Moot Court Board.

He practiced law from 1991-2000 with the Paul Wilkins Law Firm. In 2000, he 
moved to the firm of Burns & McKeithen which in 2003 became McKeithen & 
Lewellyan until the time of his illness in April of 2007. Greg was a lifelong 
member of the Columbia Heights Baptist Church and also a member of the 
Caldwell Parish Bar Association and the Columbia Lions Club. Greg was an avid 
hunter, golfer and outdoorsman. He loved life, his friends, and most of all 
his family. Greg always had a smile on his face and will be remembered as the 
person that everyone loved.

Survivors include his loving wife: Elizabeth DeLaine Head Lewellyan, his 
children: Harrison Lee Lewellyan and Haleigh Elizabeth Lewellyan, his parents: 
Judge Ronald L. Lewellyan, Janis Gregory Brown and Richard E. Brown, his 
sister and brother-in-law: Jennifer L. and Bob Frazier all of Columbia, his 
brother and sister-in-law: Colin and Melanie Lewellyan of Boise, Idaho, his 
step-brother: Jeff Brown and his wife: Allison of Baton Rouge and his nieces: 
Mary Margaret and Madeline Lee Frazier both of Columbia.

Greg was predeceased by his paternal grandparents: Ezzie and Marteal Lee 
Lewellyan, his maternal grandparents: Tillman and Roberta Duke Gregory and his 
step-brother: Richard "Rick" Samuel Brown.

Pallbearers will be John McIlwain, Lyn Meredith, Mark McKee, Bo Russell, Jamie 
Duff, Jon Guice, Steve Kendrick and Steve Richardson.

Honorary pallbearers are Paul Wilkins, Judge Don Burns, Eugene Dunn and Bill 
Yelvington.
