Burial was in Welcome Home Cemetery. He died Sunday at St. Francis Hospital in Monroe following a lengthy illness. He was a retired farmer and veteral of World War I. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Katie Lively of Columbia; three daughters, Mrs. Annie Chapman and Mrs. Myrtle Duplissey, both of Columbia and Mrs. Lavelle Lynde of South Gate, California; three sons, Claudis Lively of Decatur, Alabama, Burl Lively of Monroe and Dale Lively of Columbia; two sisters, Mrs. Lena Duke of Columbia and Mrs. Bessie Rinehart of Monroe; 10 grandchildren and two great- grandchildren.
