Lively The Caldwell Watchman-Progress, August 21, 1975 Funeral services for Joe H. Lively, 48, of Monroe, were at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Monroe with the Revs. Thurman Davis and U. H. Hunter officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Mausoleum. He died at 1:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Francis Hospital after a brief illness. Mr. Lively was a wholesale supervisor for Borden, Inc. for 28 years. He was born in Caldwell Parish adn was the son of Joe Lively, who drove a school bus here until his retirement, later moving to Monroe. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Doris Lively of Monroe; two step- daughters, Mrs. Jackie Bennett of Swartz and Mrs. Lyndae Gilbert of Crossett, Arkansas; one brother, Leonard Lively of West Monroe; one sister, Mrs. Hazel Nelson of West Monroe; and six grandchildren. Pallbearers were Bruce Goom, J. E. Tripp, Dale Ross, Marvin Moon, Ernest Truett, F. F. Boner, Lucien Tauton and J. W. Tillman.
