Obituary: Lucien Joseph Pitre
December 8, 2003

Services for Lucien Joseph Pitre, age 66, of Columbia, La. will
be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, December 8, 2003 from the St.Charles
Borromo Catholic Church in Thibodaux with Father Ty officiating.
Entombment will follow in the St. Charles Catholic Cemetery.
   
Mr. Pitre was born August 18, 1937 in Thibodaux to the union of
Hector and Jeanne Rodrigue Pitre and died Friday, December 5,
2003 at the Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe.
   
He was  a truck driver. He was a member of the St. Charles Borromo 
Catholic Church in Thibodaux.
   
Survivors include his wife: Dianne Tolbert Pitre of Columbia, his
daughters: Darlene Pitre Arceneaux and her husband: Dwain, Charlene 
Rodrigue and her husband: Brent all of Thibodaux, his son:
Raymond Pitre of Baton Rouge, and Ronald Pitre and his wife: Ray
Ann Arabie Pitre of Thibodaux, his step-daughter: Tonya Shipp and
her husband: Roger of Hebert, his step-son: David Crain of Grayson,
his brothers; Leo Pitre and Sherman Pitre, his sisters: Irene Gros, 
Alterine Sanchez and Verina Sanchez, ten grandchildren and one
great-grandchild.
   
Visitation will be Monday, December 7, 2003 from 8 a.m. until time
of services at the St. Charles Borromo Catholic Church, Thibodaux.
