Obituary:  Lucille "Dot" McKeithen Puckett
February 23, 2003

Services for Lucille "Dot" McKeithen Puckett, age 81, of Grayson will be 
held at 2 p.m., Sunday, February 23, 2003 at the Grayson United Methodist
Church in Grayson with Rev. Howard Hudson officiating.  Intement will 
follow in the Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson.
    
Mrs. Puckett was born in Friendship, La. on November 2, 1921 to the union
of William Robert "Bob"  and Catherine Ginn Mixon and died Thursday, 
February 20, 2003 at the St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe.

She was retired from the Columbia State School and was a member of the
Grayson United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband: Eugene V. Puckett, her sons and daughters-
in-law: John and Joy Patterson and John Wesley and Lesa McKeithen, her
daughter and son-in-law: Suebelle and James Murphy all of Grayson, her
grandchildren: James Todd Patterson, Alise Kennedy Wyant, Kimberly 
Patterson Fisher, Jessica Kennedy Wolgemuth, Mary Catherine Murphy, Diane 
McKeithen and Jeff McKeithen, five great-grandchildren and her sister: 
Maude Allen of Jonesboro.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Lamar McKeithen and her
daughter: Ann Patterson Kennedy.

Pallbearers will be Don Burns, John Frank Robinson, Jerry Richardson,
James Roy Mixon, Daryl Wolgemuth and Stan Wyant.

Visitation  will be Saturday from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. and Sunday from 9 
a.m. until noon at Riser Funeral Home, 7131 Hwy 165, Columbia and from l 
p.m. until time of services at the Grayson United Methodist Church.
