Hall June 29, 2004 Services for Luther E. Hall, age 91, of Grayson will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 29, 2004 from the Cross Roads Baptist Church, west of Grayson with Rev. Shane Duke officiating. Interment will follow in the Cross Roads Cemetery under the direction of Riser Funeral Home of Columbia. Mr. Hall was born in Hebert on January 16, 1913 and died Sunday, June 27, 2004 at the Caldwell Memorial Hospital in Columbia. He was a retired carpenter and an active member of the Cross Roads Baptist Church. He was a great lover of gospel music. He was also known for his postive attitude and his wonderful sense of humor. He was preceded in death by his wives: Jewel Phillips Hall and Nannie Lee Meredith Hall, his son: Eugene Hall and his step- daughter: Voncile Fluitt Aarons. Survivors include his son: Roy Lee Hall of Wichita Falls, Tx., his daughters: Dell Robbins of Grand Prairie, Tx, Virginia Worley of Alexandria, Ann Gilliam of Olla, Betty Kelly of Monroe, Geraldine Raiford of Grand Prairie, Tx., Nellie Prather of Eunice, Linda Sue Bowden of Keller, Tx., and Nancy Dietz of Eunice, his step-children: Betty Joe Fluitt Hillestad and her husband: Wilbur of Grayson, Kenneth Fluitt of West Monroe, and Patsy Fluitt May and her husband: Everett of Columbia, eighteen grandchildren and numerous great- grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Earl Cosper, Roy Dietz, Ray Raiford, Johnny Wayne Gilliam, Jeff Lipscomb and Buck Stewart. Visitation will be at the church until services.
