Geo Womack officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of a funeral home out of Jonesboro. Mrs. May died about 6 p.m. Friday at her home, located just across the Caldwell line in the neighboring parish of Jackson. Her death came after a long illness. Survivors include two sons – Lloyd May and Travis May, both residing on the home place; three daughters: Mrs. Irene Mack of Baton Rouge, Mrs. Myrtle Lizenby of Olla and Mrs. Jewel Johnston of Maplewood; a sister, Mrs. Myrtle Rogers of Columbia; 13 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
