Winn Parish Enterprise, Winnfield LA, 8 July 1943
Headline: Last Rites Held for B.Q. May of Grayson, La.
Funeral services for B.Q. May, 77, of Grayson were held June 29. Mr. May died 
June 28 after several weeks illness. The Rev. George Wall had charge of 
services. Born in Caldwell Parish in 1865, Mr. May married Miss Lizzie Gregory 
in 1890 and moved to Winn Parish two years later. His wife preceded him in 
death by several years. Surviving are the following sons and daughters: Mrs. 
Viola Thompson of Dallas, Texas; Mrs. Mattie Moore of Jackson, Miss.; W.T. 
May, Mrs. Ernest Dunn, and Ruby Lee May, all of Grayson, La., and John May, 
Jackson, Miss.


Additional Comments:
G-Uncle Quillie was the son of William Robert MAY & Penelope A. "Pennie" WEST. 
He married (1) Mary Elizabeth "Lizzie" GREGORY on 21 Jan 1890 in Caldwell 
Parish LA, and (2) Etta May KELLY on 25 Jun 1936 in Ouachita Parish LA.
