Huey Lee Diffey officiating. Burial followed in the Hickory Springs Cemetery under the direction of Riser & Son Funeral Home of Columbia. Mr. May died Monday, April 23 at the VA Hospital, Alexandria, after a long illness. Mr. May was a veteran of WW II. Survivors include: son, Mr. Jimmy May, West Monroe; two daughters, Mrs. Geraldine Causey, Hodge, Mrs. Jo Ann Wyles, Dodson; two brothers, Mr. George E. May & Mr. R. I. May, Jr., both of Grayson; five sisters, Mrs. Lorene Bell, Mrs. Ethel Epsie Wells, Mrs. Gladys Broom, Mrs. Gertrude West, all of Grayson and Mrs. Mary Mooney, Shreveport. There were 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Dale May, Algie May, Leon Cole, Arnold Cole, Slim Hodges and Buddy Nugent. Additional Comments: Uncle Ocie was the son of Robert Ivy MAY and Prim Rose JOHNSON.
