The Caldwell Watchman, Columbia LA, 7 Jan 1987
Funeral services for R. I. May, Jr., age 65 of Grayson were held Friday, 
January 2nd, 1 P.M. at the Chapel of Riser & Son with the Rev. Paul Browning 
officiating.  Burial followed in the Hickory Springs Cemetery under the 
direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home of Columbia.  Mr. May died December 
31st., at St. Francis Medical Center, Monroe, after a long illness.  Mr. May 
was a farmer.  Survivors include one brother, Mr. George May, Grayson; four 
sisters, Mrs. Mary Mooney, Shreveport, Mrs. Gertrude West, Mrs. Ethel Epsie 
Wells, and Mrs. Lorene Bell, all of Grayson.

Additional Comments:
Uncle Son was the son of Robert Ivy MAY Sr and Prim Rose JOHNSON. He married 
Margaret Helen MONROE on 14 Oct 1960 in Columbia LA. They did not have any 
children.
