Obituary of Mr. B. J. Martin
June 1980

Funeral services for Mr. B. J. Martin, 55, of Kelly were held at 3 p.m.
Sunday at the Riser & Son Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lawrence King
officiating.

Burial followed in the Harris Chapel Cemetery.

Mr. Martin died Saturday morning at the St. Francis Medical Center in 
Monroe after a short illness.

Mr. Martin was a retired barber and a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Jessie Martin of Kelly; four daughters,
Mrs. Linda Hill and Mrs. Debra Brown, both of Kelly, Mrs. Sandy Livingston
of Haynesville, and Mrs. Rita Avery of West Monroe; two sisters, Mrs.
Ethel Thomas of Kelly and Mrs. Jewel Bingaman of Georgetown; two brothers,
Mrs. Norris Martin of Jackson, Miss., and Mr. I. J. Martin of Metaire, La.;
and six grandchildren.
