Obituary:  Mary Odell Hair
July 15, 2004
    
Services for Mary Odell Hair, age 81, of Monroe will be held at
10 a.m., Thursday, July 15, 2004 from the chapel of Riser Funeral 
Home in Columbia with Rev. Johnny Hair and Rev. Eddie McVickers
officiating.  Interment will follow in the Bosco Cemetery in Bosco.
    
Mrs. Hair was born on May 26, 1923 in Caldwell Parish to the
union of Alexander and Mary Bailes Martin and died Monday, July
12, 2004 at the Landmark Nursing Home in West Monroe.
    
She was a homemaker and a retired nurse's aide.  She was also
a member of the Bosco Baptist Church.
    
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband: Larkin
T. Hair, Sr. and her daughter: Ona Mae Hair.
    
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law: Henry and Marie
Hair of Bosco, Willie and Brenda Hair of Bosco and L.T. and Donna
Hair of Ridge Manor, Florida, her daughters: Clarice O'Quinn and her
husband: James of Sulphur, Helen Massey of Grayson and Eunice
"Sweet Pea" Braddock of Bosco, her brothers: John Martin and 
Fulton Martin both of West Monroe, her sister: Lois M. Hill of West
Monroe, eighteen grandchildren, forty great-grandchildren and seven
great-great-grandchildren.
    
Pallbearers will be Chance Grant, Michael Hair, Lowell Chermeski,
Jeremy Hair, Jaby Carr, Donald "Possum" Duke, II. , Ferlin "Punkin"
Johnson and John Bonnett.
    
Visitation will be Wednesday from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. and Thursday
from 8 a.m. until service time at Riser Funeral Home, 7131 Hwy 165,
Columbia.
