Obituary:  Mary Jane Walker
November 3, 2003


Services for Mary Jane Walker, age 77, of Grayson will be held
at 11 a.m., Monday, November 3, 2003 from the chapel of Riser 
Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Jeff Wyant officiating.  Interment 
will follow in the Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson.
    
Mrs. Walker was born on November 09, 1925  and died Sunday,
November 2, 2003 at the Citizens Medical Center in Columbia.
    
She was a homemaker and a charter member of the Columbia
Lioness Club.  She was also a member of the Cross Roads Baptist
Church.
    
Survivors include her husband: Earl Walker of Grayson, her 
daughter and son-in-law: Juanita and Tommy Crain of Grayson,
her daughters: Janie Shaffer of Calhoun and Debbie Walker of Texarkana, 
Texas, her sons and daughters-in-law: Butch and Elsie Allen
of  Downsville, Walter and Ronda Allen  and James and Doris Allen
all of Oakdale, Kentucky, her sister: Pat Rogers of Lake Wales, Florida, 
ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
    
Pallbearers will be Tommy Allen, Ricky Allen, David Williams,
James Hollis Allen, Stacy Cavazos and Josh Caraway.
    
Edward Allen and Martin Cavazos will serve as honorary pallbears.
