Obituary:  Odis Eugene Sikes
October 22, 2003

Services for Odis Eugene Sikes, age 61, of Grayson will be held
at 2 p.m., Wednesday, October 22, 2003 from the chapel of Riser
Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Gary Thomas officiating.
Interment will follow in the Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson.
    
Mr. Sikes was born in Ouachita Parish on July 11, 1942 to the
union of Richmond Henry and Margaret Lowery Sikes and died
Monday, October 20, 2003 in Monroe from injuries received in an
automobile accident.
    
He was a mechanic with West Monroe Ready Mix.
    
Survivors include his wife: Linda Amason Sikes of Grayson, his
daughters and sons-in-law: Sandra and Robert Cubbitt of Columbia
and Kay and Brock Haney of Grayson, his son: Larry Sikes of Malvern, 
Arkansas, his grandchildren; Stephanie Cubbitt, Katie Boyd,
Levi Haney and Hillary Sikes, and his brother: Richard Sikes of 
Texas.
    
Pallbearers will be Robert Cubbitt, Reese Amason, Brock Haney,
Timmy Cox, Tommy Crain and Johnny Bruce Cubbitt.
