Bark Harrison officiating. Burial followed in the Welcome Home Cemetery, Grayson, under the direction of Riser & Son Funeral Home of Columbia. Mrs. Peterson died Tuesday, March 31, at Caldwell Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Peterson was a member of First Baptist Church, Columbia; a member of Chapter No. 147 Order of the Eastern Star; was married May 30, 1911, and celebrated her 75th wedding anniversary in 1986. Survivors include her husband, Daniel Lee Peterson, Columbia; one son, Hershel Peterson, Columbia; five daughters, Mrs. Coy Williams, Shreveport; Mrs. Marie Devereux, Monroe, Mrs. Doris Walker, Hebert, Mrs. Lucille Cordray, Shreveport, and Mrs. Margie Cottier, Phoenix, Arizona. There were 18 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Lelon Kenny, Bailey Gunn, Randy Devereux, Roy Cordray, Todd Cordray, Doug Crockett, Arvil Gunn, and Mickey Devereux.
