Caldwell Watchman
                        John Howard Paul Sr.
J. H. Paul Sr. , 82, of Columbia, died at E.A. Conway Hospital in 
Monroe, Friday morning March 15, 1963, 
Funeral services will be held today March 17, at 2:30 in Riser and Son 
Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Jimmy Bolton officiating.
Burial will be in Fellowship Cemetery. 

Mr. Paul was born February 4, 1881 to the union of George Edward and 
Mahalia Roweena Young Paul.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Annie Laura Maier Paul, a son, J.H,( Buddy ) Paul, 
Columbia:  five daughters, Mrs. Annie Mae Jones, Fort Necessity, 
Misses Lovie Paul, Mildred Paul, Margaret Paul, all of Columbia, and Mrs. 
Gladys Lowery, Winnfield: a sister, Mrs. Lillie Brooks, Jonesboro: Six 
Grandchildren,  Betty J. Jones Jewell, Louise Lowery, Oliver Lowery, Raymond 
Lowery, Wayne Lowery, James Lowery.
