Will Sigler and Rev. Grover Willis officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery near Oakdale under the direction of Rush Funeral Home of Oakdale, La. Mr. Perkins died Wednesday in Oakdale General Hospital after a long illness. Mr. Perkins was a former resident of Clarks, being employed by Louisiana Central Lumber Company from 1929 till 1953. He moved to Zimmerman and worked there until his retirement and moved to Oakdale where he made his home. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lou Perkins of Oakdale; two sons, L.C. Perkins, Oakdale, and Floyd Perkins, Burras, La; one daughter, Mrs. Sue Odom of Oakdale; one brother, Luther Perkins, Jena, La.; eleven grandchildren and three great- grandchildren. Grandsons served as pallbearers.
