Obituary of Overton Perot
The Caldwell Watchman-Progress, July 22, 1976
   
Overton Perot, 75, of Columbia, died Sunday evening in the 
Riverside Nursing Home in Monroe following a lengthy illness.
   
Funeral services were held in the chapel of Riser and Son 
Funeral Home with burial in Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson.
   
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Myrtle Perot of Columbia; 
six sons, William O. Perot of Stanley, New Youk, Neil L. Perot 
of Napa, California, John Perot of Sacremento, California, 
Richard Perot of Minden, Curtis Perot of Clarks, and Clayton 
Perot of Columbia, three daughters, Mrs. Audie Fatheree of 
Columbia, Mrs. Irma Cox of Sterlington, and Mrs. Ada Lindsey of 
Columbia; one sister, Mrs. Ozet Debuelet of Bastrop; 24 
grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
