Columbia, Louisiana


Funeral services for Lillie Mae Peterson, age 84, will be held at 12:30 PM on 
Friday, January 28, 2005 with Rev. Jay Morgan officiating. Interment will follow 
at Vienna Cemetery in Vienna, LA under the direction of Riser Funeral Home of 
Columbia, LA.

Mrs. Peterson, a resident of Grayson, LA, died Tuesday, January 25, 2005 at St. 
Francis Specialty Hospital in Monroe following an extended illness. Lillie Mae 
Peterson was born on April 1, 1920 in Vienna, LA to the union of her late parents 
Joe and Minnie Olivia Sims Moody. She was a homemaker and an active member of Grayson 
Baptist Church and had lived most of her adult life in Grayson, LA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Peterson and two grandchildren, 
Preston and C.J.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mona and Jack Dortch of Grayson, 
LA; son and daughter-in-law, Aubrey and Lenora Peterson of Grayson, LA; five 
grandchildren: Cliff Peterson, Tommy Peterson, Jeff Peterson, Tonya Dortch, and 
Barry Dortch; six great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation is at Riser Funeral Home on Thursday, January 27, 2005 from 10:00 AM 
until 9:00 PM.
