Obituary of James A. Poole
The Caldwell Watchman, July 13, 1978


The funeral of James Alexander Poole, 88, of Harrisonburg was held
at 10 a.m. Friday at Wallace Ridge Baptist Church with the Revs.
Lester Johnson and Randy Bailey officiating.  Burial followed in 
Heard Cemetery at Manifest under direction of Young's Funeral Home
of Jonesville.

Mr. Poole died Thursday morning at Catahoula Parish Hospital in 
Jonesville after a lengthy illness.

Survivors include three sons, Billy Poole, J. D. Poole and Lee
Taylor, all of Jonesville; a daughter, Mrs. Rowena Chapman of 
Harrisonburg; three sisters, Mrs. Beatrice Watson of Harrisonburg, 
Mrs. Melledia Watson of Tallulah, and Mrs. Corrine Poole of Grayson;
11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
