T. Bradford and Wayne Bolton officiating. Burial was in Squires Cemetery near Summerville under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena. He died at 3:30 p.m. Friday in the LaSalle General Hospital after a lengthy illness. He is survived by one son, Lamar Roark of Gretna; three daughters, Mrs. Charlie Beech, Jr., and Mrs. Roy H. Masters both of Olla, and Mrs. Charles McPhate of Fayetteville, Mississippi; five brothers, David Roark of Shreveport, Jay Roark of Baton Rouge and Lavon Roark of Grayson; three sisters, Mrs. Alma Nettles of Olla, Mrs. Faye Bradford of Jena, and Mrs. Elsie Landis of Monroe; his mother, Mrs. Stella Roark of Grayson; 11 grandchildren.
