Obituary:   Robert Vance Reitzell
July 22, 2003

Services for Robert Vance Reitzell, age 67, of Kelly
will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, July 22, 2003 from the
chapel of Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Reggie
McDaniel delivering the eulogy.   Interment will follow in
the Brown Cemetery in Kelly.
    
Mr. Reitzell was born in LaSalle Parish on March 31, 
1936 to the union of Otho and Irma Humphries Reitzell
and died Saturday, July 19, 2003 at the St. Francis Medical 
Center in Monroe after a brief illness.
    
He was employed with Plum Creek as a harvesting
superintendent.  He began working with OlinKraft in November 
of 1968.  He was a veteran of the Veitnam Conflict having 
served in the Army.  He was also a graduate of Kelly High School in 1954.
    
Survivors include his son: Brandon Lynn Spangler and
his mother, Carla Baum Reitzell both of Kelly, his mother
and father-in-law: Billie and Carl Baum of Columbia and 
his longtime dear friend, Bud Kinnison.
    
Pallbearers will be Charles Lasiter, Buster Mullen, Kenny
Womack, Hoot Reitzell, Jim Flowers and Mike Jordan.
    
Honorary pallbearers are Bud Kinnison and Bob Pardue.
    
Visitation will be Monday from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. and
Tuesday from 9 a.m. until time of services at Riser Funeral
Home, 7131 Hwy 165, Columbia, La.
