All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Obituary: Steven Carroll Weeks January 3, 2004 Services for Steven Carroll Weeks, age 35 of Monroe will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, January 3, 2004 from the Rowland Road Missionary Baptist Church in Monroe with Bro. John Yates, Bro. Norman Bryant and Bro. Peter Nortier officiating. Interment will follow in the Cross Roads Cemetery west of Grayson. Mr. Weeks was born on October 25, 1968 in West Monroe and died Thursday, January 1, 2004 at the St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe. He was Vice-President and financial analyst with HBW Finanical in Monroe. He was a member for thirteen years at Rowland Road Missionary Baptist Church in Monroe where he taught Sunday School for the third and fourth grade boys. He also co-hosted the Different Stroke Support Club at St. Francis Medical Center. Steven was an extremely loving and dedicated husband, father and son. He spent his life giving to others and he will continue to live in the lives of others because of his generosity. He dearly loved and cared for each and every child he knew. Survivors include his wife: Stacy Midyett Weeks, his daughter: Macy Caroline Weeks of Monroe, his parents: Carroll and Doris Weeks of Grayson, his brother and sister-in-law: Timothy and Amy Weeks and nephews: Pistol and Wyatt Weeks of West Monroe, his paternal grandmother: Mattie Weeks of Grayson, his maternal grandparents: Otto and Mary Frost of West Monroe, his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Ruben and Frances Midyett of Monroe, his brother-in-law: Ken Midyett of Monroe, his god- parents: Bertney and LaNell Landry of Bastrop and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and host of friends. Pallbearers will be John Bradshaw, Mark Leath, Hollis Strickland, Charlie Baxter, Randy Greene, Tim Midyett, John Risher and Tony Weeks. Honorary pallbearers will be David Murphy, Mark Lockard, Earl Frost, Dooley Jordan and Bertney Landry. Visitation will be Friday from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Satur- day from 8 a.m. until time of services at the Rowland Road Miss- ionary Church, 336 Rowland Road, Monroe.
