Services for Fred Sikes, age 70 of Columbia will be held 
at 2 p.m., Wednesday, January 5, 2005 from the chapel of 
Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. John Spears 
officiating.  Interment will follow in the Welcome Home 
Cemetery in Grayson.

Mr. Sikes was born in Clarks on July 18, 1934 to the union 
of Mark Jack and Annie Bell Floyd Sikes and died Sunday, 
January 2, 2005 at the L.S.U. Medical Center in Monroe.

He was a retired logger.

Survivors include his son: James Sikes of Urania, his 
daughters: Sandra Norrell of Columbia, Judy London of 
Calhoun, Johnnie Johnson of Columbia and Jane Banes of 
Georgetown, eleven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren 
and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Mark London, Eric Nugent, Bo Banes, Robert 
Hubbard, Frankie Johnson and James Banes, Jr.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 4 p.m until 9 p.m. and Wednesday 
from 9 a.m. until time of services at Riser Funeral Home, 7131 
Hwy 165, Columbia, La.
