Don Boyett officiating. Interment with full military honors will follow in the Welcome Home Cemetery in Grayson, LA. Mr. Sisson was born on December 29, 1929 in Wilmot, AR to the union of Hugo Hope and Lillie Lee Johnson Sisson and died Tuesday, November 2, 2004 at the Citizens Medical Center in Columbia. He was a retired Chief Petty Officer in the U.S. Navy with twenty years of service. He was a member of the Covenant Christian Worship Center in Columbia. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, James E. "Jimmy" Sisson and his sister, Betty Ann Nolan. Survivors include his wife of fifty-nine years, Margie LaVerne Walters Sisson of Grayson, LA; his daughters: Kathleen S. Gonzales of Glendora, CA, Elizabeth Ann Brill of Santa Clara, CA and Janet Sullivan of Monroe, LA; his grandchildren: Jason Sullivan, Ryan Sullivan, Jeremy Brill, Jessica Brill, Bill Bowles, Summer May and Matthew Salazar, his great- grandchildren: Sean Denison, Seth Denison and Shelby Shepherd and his sister, Sherry S. Martinez of West Monroe, LA. Pallbearers will be Daniel Ferguson, Rodney Temple, Eugene Temple, Denzil Cantley, Benny Ray Cruse, and Charles Braddock. Honorary Pallbearers are Charles Looney, Pete May, Justin May and Lanny Dark. Any planned memorials may be made to Covenant Christian Worship Center, P.O. Box 190, Columbia, LA 71418. Visitation will be Thursday, November 4, 2004 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Friday, November 5, 2004 from 9:00 AM until time of services at the Covenant Christian Worship Center, Hwy 4 East, Columbia, LA.
