Obituary:  Sybil Marie Feeney
March 24, 2003

Graveside services for Sybil Marie Feeney, age 82, of
Columbia will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, March 24,
2004 at the Columbia Hill Cemetery with Father De
Jesus  officiating.
    
Mrs. Feeney was born in Ville Platte on July 29, 1921 
to the union of Wilford and Eula Guillory Landereau and
died Monday, March 22, 2004 at the Citizens Medical Center in Columbia.
    
She was a retired schoolteacher, having taught 37 years
in the Caldwell Parish School System.  She was also a
member of the St. John's Catholic Church in Columbia.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband:
Kirk Feeney.
    
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law: Patricia
and Gary Mott of Hebert, her grandchildren: Pam Mott Duff
and her husband: Jamie, Kim Mott Rushing  and her husband: Jody and 
Heath Mott, her great-grandchildren: Justin H. Rushing, Rebecca R. 
Rushing, Jared K. Duff and Jenna M. Duff, and her sister: Connie 
Landereau Breaux of Houma.
    
Pallbearers will be Jody Rushing, Jamie Duff, Greg Ducote, Rusty Ducote, 
Burt Ducote and Nick Rushing.
    
Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Mark Meredith, Scott Meredith, Charles 
Thompson and Johnny Brown.
    
Visitation Wednesday will be at 10 a.m at the Our Lady of Peace Chapel 
in Columbia.
