Michael Whitman officiating. Interment will follow in the Hebert Cemetery with Rev. Lyndel Stewart officiating. Mrs. Story was born on October 12, 1920 in Columbia and died Tuesday, October 12, 2004 at her residence. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents: her husband: Rev. Edward "Bud" Story in May of 1986, her sisters: Gertie Estess and Mayola Frost and her brothers: Dave Howard, John Howard, Clarence Howard and Cecil Howard. Survivors include her son: Edward Lee Story, Jr. and his wife: Mary of Amarillo, Tx., her daughters: Velma Massey of Grayson, Margie Rice and her husband: Eugene of Monroe, Louise Montfort and her husband: Dan of West Monroe, Barbara Hudson of Grayson and Caroline "Pauline" Griffin of Hebert, her sisters: Florence Nettles of Calhoun and Elsie Williams of Columbia, seventeen grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren and seven great- great-grandchildren. Pallbearers are Jerry Story, Scott Moore, Danny Montfort, Dan Montfort, Mike Rice, Kevin Rice and Craig Honeycutt. Visitation will be Friday from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. until time of services at Riser Funeral Home, Hwy 165, Columbia.
